I read and answer every message myself — there is no support team and no ticket system. Whether you have a question about a guide, you are stuck on a CV Tool order, or you want to suggest a topic for the next article, write to me directly using any of the channels below.

How quickly you will hear back
Messages are answered in the order they arrive, usually within a few hours during the day and by the next morning if you write late at night. Pakistan Standard Time (PKT) is the working timezone here.
- Paid CV Tool orders — your access code is normally sent within an hour of the payment screenshot arriving, and within 24 hours at the very latest.
- Questions about a guide — usually the same day.
- Email — slower than WhatsApp. If something is time-sensitive, use WhatsApp.
If a full day has passed with no reply, please message again rather than assuming you have been ignored. Messages do get buried, and a second nudge is genuinely welcome.
If you have paid and your access code has not arrived
Send a WhatsApp message with your order reference — the long code shown on the tool page under the payment section, which looks like df5d4e9a-07b9-… — and the payment screenshot. With those two things the order can be found immediately.
Two things worth knowing before you write:
- Do not convert your CV again. An access code belongs to one order only. Starting a new conversion creates a new order, and the code you were sent will not work on it. Open the link you were given instead — your order stays available there for 30 days.
- Check the number you entered. The code is sent to the WhatsApp number you typed into the tool. If there was a typo in it, tell me the correct number along with your order reference.
If a code cannot be delivered to you at all, the payment is refunded in full. The details are on the Terms & Refund Policy page.
Career services
For CV conversion, cover letters, LinkedIn optimisation and one-to-one strategy calls, everything — including the current prices — is listed on the services page. Prices are published there rather than quoted privately, so there is nothing to negotiate and no surprise at the end.
Suggesting a guide
A good part of what is written here started as somebody's question. If you are researching a route that is not covered yet — a country, a visa category, a document requirement that nobody explains clearly — send it over. Tell me which country you are applying from and what you have already tried; that context is what makes a guide useful to the next person reading it.
What I cannot help with
Being straight about this saves us both time:
- I am not an immigration lawyer or a licensed consultant. I cannot give legal advice, assess your eligibility for a visa, or represent you with any embassy or immigration authority.
- I cannot get you a visa, a job offer or an appointment slot, and I have no contact inside any embassy, consulate or visa centre. Anybody who tells you otherwise is worth walking away from — there is a whole guide on that: how to avoid visa scams in Pakistan.
- I cannot write experience into your CV that you do not have. The CV Tool reformats and rewords what is already in your document; it does not invent employers, dates or qualifications. Sending a false CV to an employer or an embassy carries consequences far worse than a weaker application.
What I can do is show you how the process actually works, what the official rules say, and how to present the experience you genuinely have so that it is not thrown out by a filter before a human ever reads it.
About this site
Travel Tips with Haris Shahid is run by Muhammad Haris, an individual publisher based in Pakistan, writing about work and study routes abroad for a Pakistani audience. There is no company behind it and no office to visit — WhatsApp and email are the two ways to reach me. You can read more about why the site exists on the About page.
