This Privacy Policy explains how Travel Tips with Haris Shahid ("we", "our", "the site") handles information when you visit. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

This is primarily an information/blog website. We do not ask you to create an account. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share so we can reply.

CV Tool — important, please read before uploading

Our CV Tool lets you upload a CV and have it converted into another country's format. This section applies only if you choose to use that tool.

Your CV is sent to a third-party AI service. To perform the conversion we transmit the text of your CV — which normally includes your name, phone number, email address, employment history and education — to Google's Gemini API.

We currently use Google's free tier. On that tier, Google states that prompts and responses may be used to improve Google's products. In plain terms: the contents of your CV may be seen and retained by Google, and may be used in the development of Google's AI systems. This is a genuine limitation of the free service, and we would rather tell you plainly than bury it.

If you are not comfortable with that, please do not upload your CV. Message us on WhatsApp instead and we will handle it manually.

What we do on our own side:

• We store the converted CV, the cover letter and the ATS score so you can return and download them after payment. These are automatically deleted after 30 days.
• We store the contact detail you optionally provide (email or WhatsApp number) only to match your payment to your order.
• We do not sell your CV or your data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
• We do not keep the original file you uploaded — only the extracted text needed to produce your documents.
• You may ask us to delete your order at any time before the 30 days elapse by messaging us with your order reference.

If we later move to a paid AI service that does not train on submitted data, we will update this section and the notice shown on the tool page.

The tool assists with formatting and wording only. It does not add qualifications or experience you do not have, it is not legal or immigration advice, and it does not guarantee a job, an interview or a visa. You remain responsible for checking that everything in your CV is true before you send it to anyone.

Cookies and advertising

We may use third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, to support this free site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We may use analytics tools to understand general traffic patterns (such as which guides are most read). This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

Third-party links

Our guides link to official government and other external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
